After a recommendation from a friend, I contacted Mrs Alex Jennings, Notary and Solicitor, of Heppenstalls. Over the last two years, I have required both services, and the help and advice I have been given on those occasions have been excellent. I was quite nervous initially, because I was unsure of the kind of help I actually needed, but Mrs Jennings was wonderful. She was very calm and put my mind at ease, and should the need arise, I would be more than happy to ask her again.

Great experience with my conveyancing – would and did use them again! I used Heppenstalls 12 years ago when I bought my house. I received a great service then so I decided to use them again to sell the house this year. I was able to make an appointment easily and talk to Anastasia. I found her very competent, attentive and warm. She gave me all the information I needed in a way that I could understand easily and I therefore felt I could make good decisions based on evidence. She was responsive to emails and copied colleagues in so that they could be in the picture and contribute if she was not available. She had to hand over temporarily, whilst on annual leave, to Nathan Palmer: he too is excellent. Again I found him available to meet and welcoming. When we did meet, he listened and gave great explanations and advice. He chased all the documentation and ensured that it was available for me to sign and ready for completion, as I had moved away from the area by the time of completion. I felt that I could really trust the advice I was given and that I was treated as Anastasia and Nathan would like to be treated themselves. The fixed fee was reasonable. I have recently had a lot of contact with 3 other solicitors, as I am executor of my parents estates. My experience with the other solicitors was very different: I found them insensitive, unresponsive, impersonal, lacking in attention to detail and more expensive.
