At Heppenstalls, we are committed to supporting all our clients with care, understanding, and practical guidance. As part of this commitment, several members of our team recently completed a Dementia Friends session run by the Alzheimer’s Society.
We are proud to now be Dementia Friends. The session offered valuable insights into how dementia affects everyday life, helping us understand the challenges faced by those living with the condition and their families. It also highlighted ways we can provide more thoughtful and compassionate support in our work, from discussing sensitive matters to offering reassurance and practical guidance.
One key takeaway from the session was the importance of having a Will in place. Ensuring that Wills are clear and up to date helps families plan ahead and provides peace of mind, particularly for those affected by dementia or other conditions that may affect capacity.
Becoming Dementia Friends reinforces our ongoing commitment to delivering legal services that are professional, practical, and empathetic. It’s part of how we ensure every client feels supported, understood, and respected, no matter their circumstances.
