Legal Walk

Our consultant Andrew Caplen, currently President of the Law Society of England and Wales has walked over 65 miles to raise money for charity.  Andrew walked the Test Way, starting at Inkpen Beacon on the Hampshire Berkshire border, on his first day walking to Chilbolton.  On his second day he walked to Hythe and on the third day from there to our offices in Lymington via Beaulieu and Bucklers Hard.  Unfortunately Andrew walked in dreadful rain and was repeatedly soaked.  On the first day he walked on his own but on the second and third days was joined by some other local solicitors (and some dogs!).  We held a little reception for him, which the Mayor Cllr Michael White and President of the Lymington Chamber of Trade Peter Leyland Jones, very kindly attended.  You can see Andrew trudging up the High Street with his band of followers.

I then took him to Brockenhurst, to catch the London train as he had to be in Chancery Lane the next day to attend meetings.  Andrew was so tired, the only consolation being Waterloo is the end of the line so no chance of Andrew sleeping past his destination!  Andrew raised over £3,000 for Access to Justice Foundation.
